Oct 18 Class Confirmation

You are confirmed for your “second 8 hour” class, Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 8 to 5:00 PM.

The class will be held at the American Legion Post in Franklin Park, at 9757 Pacific Ave. We will conclude the day with the shooting qualification at Article 2 Range, 250 Cortland Ave in Lombard.

Please email us (if you haven’t already) at info@IllinoisGunPros.com with

  1. your full name, as it appears on your FOID card (or, if you don’t have one, your driver’s license)
  2. your current phone number
  3. name and phone of anyone you paid a deposit for

This class covers the legal training required to become licensed to carry concealed, training on how to carry a gun safely, draw from a holster, gun safety, how to survive a shootout, and the shooting qualification.  Please note that a holster is NOT required.  We will provide holsters for in-class practice using Glock 17 Laser pistols – we will not be drawing from a holster at the range.

If you do not have a gun, one can be provided for you.  If you do bring a gun, please feel free to bring it into the classroom, but do NOT bring any live ammunition into the classroom. We will not be going to the range for this class – it will be classroom instruction only.

What do you need to bring?

  • Lunch – you may want to bring a brown bag lunch or run out to get food – we take only 30 minutes for lunch. You may also bring food / drinks into the classroom.
  • Pen or Pencil  (Notebooks / workbooks will be provided)
  • Sweater or sweatshirt (some are invariably cold in any classroom!)
  • Please ensure you wear pants with a belt, as the holsters we use require a belt to wear
  • 40 rounds of ammunition (if you need a gun provided, let us know ahead of time – there is no extra charge)
  • Hearing and eye protection (if you do not have these, we have hearing protection and there are shooting glasses for rent for $1 at the range)
  • Proof of exemption from the first 8 hours of training, if applicable

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call Mike Bius at 630 205 8132.
