You are confirmed for your “second 8 hour” class, Saturday, Mar 25, 2023 from 8 to 4:30 PM.
(If you are taking the RENEWAL class, it will be from 9 to 1 PM)
The class will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 650 N. Wyckles Drive, Decatur, Illinois

This class covers all the laws (carrying concealed, unlawful use of a weapon, use of deadly force, FOID laws and federal laws), how to carry concealed, drawing from a holster and shooting qualification.
If you do not have a gun, one can be provided for you. If you do bring a gun, please bring it unloaded and in a container.
What do you need to bring?
- $60 in Cash (Balance of Class Fee ($50) plus $10 Range Fee). (RENEWAL is $25 balance plus Range Fee)
- Wear pants with a BELT. We will practice drawing from a holster in class with Glock laser pistols and the holsters fasten onto a belt (we will NOT shoot from a holster with live ammunition)
- Your gun plus 50 rounds of ammunition and eye and ear protection. (No gun? You can use one of ours – we just ask that you pay $5 for the ammunition)
- Lunch – you may want to bring a brown bag lunch or order food from a nearby restaurant – we take only 30 minutes for lunch. Feel free to bring snacks / drinks.
- Pen or Pencil (Notebooks / workbooks will be provided)
- Sweater or sweatshirt (some are invariably cold in any room!)
